Biography

Allan Sumner is a recognised accomplished artist in South Australia. Allan is an Aboriginal man with a mixture of central desert and Ngarrindjeri bloodlines.
Allan is a singer, musician and writes his own music as well as providing live entertainment in a range of acoustic covers including songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's and todays.
Over the past 10 years, Mr Sumner has performed live at many community events in Adelaide and has played in pubs and clubs within SA.

Allan currently performs as a solo artist now promoting himself across SA. Allan continues to play and sing acoustic covers through out local pubs, wineries and corporate venues.
Allan has 70+ cover and original songs complete with sequenced backing music to suit both formal and festive events.

In 2004 Allan Sumner won the Nunga Idol competition held at Tandaya as part of the Adelaide City Festival. Allan was rewarded with the chance to record a CD with CASM.

Allan has just recently joined a well known Nunga Reggae Band "Kineman Karma" and has performed twice as backing vocalist and lead guitarist.

Allan is currently recording his first Album and should be released by August 2010.
